1st Advantage FCU | Pocket Campaign

This credit union, with assets of $518,244,808, is headquartered in Yorktown, Virginia. It has 57,945 members—many young families and military— who enjoy the strong community connections the credit union encourages between its colleagues and members. This is the inspiration behind its “Life. Shared.” branding, which Raoust+Partners also created.

Challenge: To create a campaign that promotes loans.

Approach: Raoust+Partners created a new program we called Pocket, which encouraged 1st Advantage Front Line Staff to sell members a new, more comprehensive loan mix that allowed the member to have more cash in his or her pocket during the month. We also created a new Website where people could get more information about the program and click on a link to apply, read stories about how other members benefited from the program, and access a special calculator where they could compare their current monthly payments with their new, lower payments to see how much money they would pocket with Pocket.
